Explain what you mean by timing gear.

There are "several" gears in the timing case of the W1 that are poorly marked if at all as far as installation goes . I didn't really want to get the real tools out and make a project of it . Cust/client/inept mechanic I've known for ages found a W! in "all there but a bit rough" condition . Before I could get there he had it most of the way apart . Now the puzzle is mine and I keep putting him off because once it gets here I'll play hell getting him to take it back . There is always just one more thing , or while it's here or ....

I just wanted to toss the gears in correctly and seal the cover before anything gets lost .

Kawasaki.com has a parts diagram on their site, dont know if it will give you what you are looking for or not.  They also have a listing for the FSM for 24.95

Take care using Bikebandit.com parts fiche as the numbers they list are NOT Kaw part numbers. The diagrams are good for help assembling stuff but not for part numbers as they use their own part numbers. I use the fiche at babbittsonline.com as they have the actual Kaw part numbers plus a lot of the parts diagrams are posted on kawasaki.com
