I need an engine case for a 78KZ1000.  I want to use all of my components from my engine now.  I am not sure of the year interchange, but if anybody has anything let me know.

The engine cases from a 73-80 will work fine. If you use a KZ1000 cylinder on a Z1/KZ900 set of cases you will have to dress the holes that the liners fit into a bit with a die grinder or Dremel... it isn't a big deal but you may have to clean some of the material.
