If i have two sets i will build you a set.

I'll have to look. They would not have a pump on them. Roy

Roy,
What would be the cost ?
My bike is running
4-1 Harris with race baffle
dyna coils
Dyna Ignition
Kerker oil cooler
Pod filters
Wiseco 1015
What is the advantage of the accelerator pump over ones with out ?

I would need to get a cost also for shipping US to UK

Let me know

The diffrence between the carbs without the accelerator pump to me is that the carbs without the pump would be easier to adjust.

I did see two sets in my shop.

I will make a wild quess and say,"They will cost $175.00 delivered".

They would be jetted 20/120 with the needle raised. That should be close.

Roy,
I am willing to pay $175.Are you sure that includes shipping ??
If easier to set up without the pump, then no pump is the way to go.

Can you check on the shipping?

My post code in Scotland is Aberdeen AB21 0HH

How would you need payment ?? Can you do paypal ??

You ought to try and buy these. They look like they will go cheap.

I second that.

Roy is also a member of a local motorcycle forum that I started last year. He's always eager to jump in and help other members there also.

All,
I really appreciate the help & advice that I have received on this site, there may be thousands of miles between us but the bond that these classic bikes bring is unmistakable.
Thanks for the PM Roy,I to am watching a few on ebay USA at the moment,(I just hope we are not bidding against each other lol !!)

Best of luck & I will let ya know how I get on with the coil repowering when I check it out.

Hi all,
Just to give an update on this thread,I won a set of 28mm carbs from ebay Item number: 390158372637
The guy states that they may be smoothbores, but not sure(if they are - bonus for me) As long as they are 28mm I will be happy with that.

Just checked out WG tech stuff-- Spot on with his carbs, this man knows all there need to know about carbs.!!!
Looking at his very clear info,I would definately say I have got myself a set of late 74, 28mm carbs, with the ribs & overflow tubes.

I have also checked out the coil repowering link,I seem to be getting 11.2volts at the coils with my battery reading only 11.8volts.
I may have some charging issue as when the bike is run (around 3500-4000rpm) I am only putting out 13.4volts.I am sure I read somewhere that it should put out over 14volts.

I do have a couple of spare windings,so I may swop over one to see -- I am not very good with electrics & reading through the haynes manual about checking this alternator output-- !!!! this just confused me even more, there must be an easier way to check this out !!!
Anyway,it is still snowing here,so I am going to drain the tank to see if any crap in there and I will fit a couple of new inline fuel filters to get ready for my new carbs........
Will let ya all know how I get on later...
Thanks again one & all
